POSITION SUMMARY
Business Development Manager responsible for securing profitable business focused on AT&T CTO & Network Operations Organizations.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Deep understanding of core Telecom & Networking Technologies – (LTE, UMTS, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, RAN/BSS, Circuit Core, Packet Core, VoIP/VoLTE, IMS Core and Transport Networks
- Experience in having sold Core Telecom & Networking Services relevant to TSPs (Network consulting & design, validation / certification, integration, inter op testing, monitoring and support)
- Experience in solution selling specifically solutions involving next generation solutions and products and Devices
- Experience in building large deal constructs ($ 25 Mn+) including helping customer’s build business cases, analysis for business solutions and determining business value to the company and the customer.
- Experience in responding to RFPs, RFI, building proactive proposals & presentations
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and initiate sales leads that create opportunities
- Relationship building & Opportunity creation
- Close opportunities and generate profitability sales
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue and/or orders booking targets
- Ensure seamless transition to delivery
- Optimize Account team performance (invoicing / Collections etc

- Ability to lead and work collaboratively with technical delivery managers, cross functional operations teams and sales resources to identify, develop, and successfully close new business opportunities

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Prior experience of having successfully sold to AT&T CTO and Network Operations organization
- Minimum 8 + years of sales experience with recent experience of selling into AT&T / Verizon / Sprint / T-Mobile
- Prior experience of having worked with professional services organizations at Ericsson, Cisco, Juniper or ALU
